December 7 - Mackaper & Label updates

In advent of the release of Mackaper's debut album When All Is Sad And Dawn, originally slated for release in October but post-poned until early February 2010, we are releasing Tale of Tales as the first single off said album on the 14th of December.
The second single Tale of Tales Remix is scheduled for release on the 19th of January 2010.

December 18 will see the official launch of Airwaves brand spanking new sub-label Satellites. The first Satellites activity will be the release of Disciplin - This Is Hip, in collaboration with Jennifer Records.

August 21 - Airwaves @ Grolsch Block Party
Airwaves Music takes control over one of the stages at this year's Grolsch Block Party, held around Skånegatan in Stockholm's fashionable SOFO (South Of FOlkets kebab) district. Chicken El Diablo, Elias Krantz and Mackaper will perform. DJ duties will be divided between Fly Interzone, Ultra El (Estroboscorpio) and Gavin Maycroft (Mother). The Airwaves Stage will be held at Boule 1 on Närkesgatan 6.

August 15 - Mackaper Album Release
The eagerly awaited Mackaper debut album "When Everything Is Sad And Dawn" is now set to be released in mid-october, to much rejoicing.
 
January - Chicken El Diablo among the highest rated in 2008
Chicken El Diablo's debut album "Love It Or Level It" was ranked at number 17 of over 600 reviewed releases in Sweden 2008. If you, as some do, discount the jazz and metal releases that constantly get overrated reviews in Swedish media, "Love It Or Level It" turns up at number 7!
 
2009 - Airwaves World Domination?
2009 promises to be an interesting Airwaves Music year, Mackaper, Rökmorsa and Elias Krantz are all working on new releases, and plenty of exciting plans are being hatched at the Airwaves headquarters, among them a strategy towards world domination...
